On a fine day in May, two stunning people in love, became husband and wife. We had the honor of capturing the momentous event at the Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Cub. The weather as you can see was amazing for taking pictures, perfectly May day overcast, it was perfection. Edward Norton

I was honored when Siff asked me to shoot this event for a spotlight on Edward Norton’s career and the screening of his new film leaves of Grass. There was a Q & A after the film which lasted about an hour and a half and was very insightful and enlightening. Lisa Dupar catering was on hand with her signature food stylings and it was amazing. Tom Skerritt showed as well as a lively Siff crowd for this exciting evening.

I love Amir & Sarah, they are simple, elegant and sophisticated all at the same time. They gave us complete creative license so we went for it. Lit by the light of the day through the stained glass windows of Greek Orthodox Church in Seattle the ceremony was beautiful. Don’t miss the slideshow, a debut fusion show, where we’ve added video within the slideshow.

Mount Rainier

Last Fall, I hiked to a mountain range next to Mount Rainier that gave us this spectacular view of the mountain. My friend Patrick, a fellow photographer, and I made an overnight trek that yielded some mighty fine still images and as you are about to see, motion pictures. I’ve been to Mount Rainier many times but this was very unique in that the weather was absolutely perfect for photography when we arrived as the sun went down and when we woke in the morning. I set my 5D Mark II on tripod, aimed it at Rainier and walked out to catch a glimpse of the rising sun. It was priceless. If you listen closely you can hear the rocks crunch beneath my boots, it was that still and quite out there. I know it looks like I shot this in front of a green screen and dropped the mountain in in post, but sadly I had to work really hard climbing up the mountain, sleeping in 20 degree weather just to get this great shot!

On a clear, bright, sunny February day in …… Seattle, I had the incredible fortune of photographing Katie & Jason’s wedding. Everything about their wedding was elegant and romantic.

I love the time of year and atmosphere of the Seattle Tennis Club.

BEK + RYAN Pravda Studios

We are insanely busy working on our new website, which we hope will be ready to go live at the beginning of next week! This is a very memorable wedding we shot at Pravda Studios. Bek and Ryan were awesome to work with, such a warm, fun loving and cool couple. Joined by close family and friends, they partied into the night with The Hemingway Reference on site to keep the party moving.

Jennifer & Tony found love on eHarmony

Jennifer and Tony had a beautiful wedding at Court in the Square! We got some sweet night shots with them in Pioneer Square after the sun went down, I absolutely love shooting at this time of the day…. night with the glowing old fashion lights in Pioneer square I’m able to mix a little light with the existing light to create a ‘night’ image that feels natural without being dark. They are also featured on eHarmony’s new national ad campaign. We’ll keep you posted on their eHarmony story!!
