It was a perfect wedding day for Susan and Scott on 06.20.09 at the Inn at Ship Bay on Orcas Island. With the quaint setting at the Inn at Ship Bay, family and friends in attendance and the sun shining with a slight cool breeze blowing, they couldn’t have asked for anything more on their wedding day! Birds are a large part of Scott and Susan’s professional and personal lives, in fact it was a bird that brought Scott and Susan together. So, it was such a great surprise, a good omen perhaps, as Susan walked up to the alter where Scott was waiting to see her for the first time, a huge eagle appeared from nowhere and circled around in the sky. At the end of the day, everyone had a chance to see the eagles and turkey vultures up close as they were fed salmon scraps from the Inn as Ship Bay‘s restaurant.
