Brian and I had such a great time photographing Cameron and Marizel’s wedding on 11.11.07!! Cameron and Marizel are two people with such great energy and spirit and they had the best wedding party, so full of laughter and fun! With the smell of the tuberose and pikake in the air, the great Hawaiian music, hula dancing and warm aloha spirit that filled the Spirit of Washington Event Center, I was transported back to Hawaii. The only element missing was the warm trade winds. It was about 50 degrees out that day and windy, but Cameron, Marizel and their entourage were troopers letting Brian and I get all of our photos in without any complaining. A big mahalo to Stephanie Alejo of Events By Alejo who helped keep everyone together and on track in downtown Seattle for the group pics. Friends and family flew in from other parts of the Mainland and Hawaii to join Cameron and Marizel on their wedding day. The night ended with the band 3D who had the dance floor packed with their funky electric tunes! Thank you Cameron and Marizel, have fun in Tahiti! You may remember Patrick and Rachel’s engagement shoot that we shot back in April in West Seattle. Patrick and Rachel were engaged at Teatro ZinnZani. During the main course one of the characters went over to their table and started to do a magic trick. He floated a ring out of a box and over to Patrick who took it out of the air, got down on one knee and proposed! We can’t believe their wedding has already come and gone. We knew their 11.03.07 wedding was going to be amazing and that it was! The ceremony was held at Blessed Sacrament and the reception at The Ruins in Seattle with Chris Graves singing a swingin Michael Bublè. Lorna and Henry are two of the coolest people and Jennifer and I are sooo excited and can not wait for their wedding next year!
