Bri and Chris had such a fantastic wedding this past Saturday at Bear Creek Country Club in Woodinville! Everything went smoothly despite the rain and thunder. Actually, the thunder added an ambiance to the ceremony, making for a memorable wedding ceremony. Right after Bri finished saying her vows there was a roar of thunder that sounded from the skies above. It was great! Those are the things at a wedding that make it so memorable. Another of the many memorable events that day were the speeches from the fathers…so well spoken and sooo touching. We really had a great time shooting their wedding. Here are some images we captured from that day.

Andrea & Joe 07.15.07
High school sweethearts, Andrea and Joe met while attending Bishop Blanchet High School. They chose to get married where it all started, at Blanchet! We had some fun photographing Andrea and Joe in front of their old high school lockers and class photo. The reception was held at The Canal in Ballard. We were there to photograph their very amazing wedding along with videographer Aaron Horton of Aaron Horton Productions. Currently residing in Illinois, Andrea & Joe flew back to Seattle where family and friends joined them in celebrating their wedding day. Check out their SLIDESHOW.
Erin & Bob 07.14.07
Wow, where do we start? Erin and Bob are the most fun loving, awesome people! It was fate that they ended up together. The abridged version of how they met…Erin went to a send off dinner for a firefighter leaving the fire department. Bob, a firefighter, who worked at a fire station half way across the city just happened to be assigned to the station where the farewell dinner was taking place. Bob & Erin ended up talking and when it was time for Erin to leave, Bob asked for Erin’s phone number, saying it was for a “friend” who might be interested in her job which she was leaving to move to France. The next day Bob “just happened” to be in Erin’s neighborhood and they went out for a snack. Of course there was no “friend”. There were sooo many memorable events that occurred at their wedding at Lakedale Resort on San Juan Island, stories about their flowers, cake, the lawn chairs, smores, smoke alarms going off just prior to the ceremony due to the excellent smoke from the BBQ, their dog Jasper who was the ring bearer getting into a scuffle with a fox the night before the wedding, offerings to the rain God…it goes on. It was great, it made for an unforgettable wedding! Lakedale Resort is such a serene, beautiful location for a wedding and the people on the island are the nicest people. Hope you enjoy the slide show just as much as we enjoyed photographing their wedding. SLIDESHOW
Our Weekend Haps
This was a fun two wedding weekend! After a meeting here in Seattle Friday morning, we drove up to Anacortes to catch the ferry over to Friday Harbor for our Saturday wedding on San Juan Island. We missed our ferry and ended up taking the later ferry over. Cole had a blast running around on the ferry, his first time on a ferry that he could remember. Saturday’s wedding was sooo beautiful at Lakedale Resort. San Juan Island is so serene and peaceful. Then it was up at 4:45am on Sunday to catch the 6:00am ferry back to Anacortes and drive back down to Seattle for our wedding that afternoon. Check back in this week to view the wedding slide shows!
Brian got these shots at the ferry dock while we waited for the next ferry.
Our stop at Lopez Island
Cole had a blast and passed right out at the end of the night.
07.07.07 George & Leah
On Saturday, lucky 07.07.07, we photographed the sweetest couple! George and Leah couldn’t have picked a more auspicious day for their wedding which was held at the beautiful Edgewater on Seattle’s waterfront overlooking Elliot Bay. At the reception Leah changed into two different beautiful dresses, a Chinese dress and a Korean dress. The day ended with friends and family having a blast on the dance floor. Check out their SLIDESHOW.
