The big wind storm this December made for a “cool” wedding for Kaitlin and Jason who flew in from warm and sunny Hawaii for their wedding. As if getting ready for a wedding wasn’t stressful enough, the hotel they had reservations at had no power, so they had to run around at the last minute in search of a hotel. In the end, everything worked out just perfectly and their wedding went off smoothly. The ceremony site didn’t have their electricity back, but it actually worked out for the better! The warm candle light that was used to light up the old rustic barn made for a beautiful and romantic ceremony.

We knew this would be a hit with Cole because he was always jumping on the couch, and off the couch! We took this shot of him on Christmas morning with our super wide angle lens, natural light, no flash.

On December 16, 2006 we photographed Maria and Shane’s wedding. The wedding was beautiful, and what made that day even more special was that both Maria and Shane’s parents were also married on December 16th thirty-four years ago! Here’s the slide show of their wedding:
