BRITTANY + PRESCOTT | city glamour in the wilderness

Brittany and Prescott were living in New York City when they met and they both loved the city life, but also adored the outdoors. Bringing both of these elements together is what inspired their “city glamour in the wildness” theme for their wedding held at Kitsap Memorial State Park, a park that reminded Brittany of her childhood home on a hill their family calls “Magic Hill”. Together with their family and friends, the park was beautifully transformed for the day where family and close friends celebrated this perfect day!

Place card holders were hand made by Brittany’s father using branches from their family home on “Magic Hill”.

The cake was a three layered red velvet cake with edible flowers set atop a beutiful tree stump from her childhood home. Creamsicle cupcakes on tree stumps surrounded the cake for the vegans in the family.

I loved the birdhouses and bandanas on the kid’s table!

Tao + Menglai Engagement Session

Tao and Menglai are the sweetest couple to work with and they will be tying the knot in just little over a month at Januik Winery! For their engagement session they wanted to get some fun photos, doing what they love to do everyday. Brian started at the beautiful Melrose Market and headed around Capitol Hill from there. Here’s just a few images from the photo session.

Brian - May 5, 2012 - 11:10 pm

Jamie + Michael

Jamie and Michael’s wedding is one that remains vividly in my mind!  The day had been planned out so beautifully with the help of ever so stylish Shannon Lassen of Sublime Wedding and Event Planning.  Jamie and Michael’s wedding theme revolved around wine, a perfect theme for their wedding day, since Michael had proposed to Jamie while in Sonoma, a county famous for its world-renowned wines!

Jamie’s dress was a Luly Yang Couture accompanied with Luly Yang shoes and accessories, so pretty!
