Ray and Jamil, raised in Seattle and now residing in Boston, celebrated their marriage on Saturday, 09.20.08 at Bell Harbor. It was a typical Fall rainy day in Seattle…what’s Seattle without a little rain? They had an amazing wedding day starting at Hotel Andra in downtown Seattle and finished the day at Bell Habor and The World Trade Center for dancing and all night celebration. We truly had a great time capturing the memories and fun times with Jamil, Ray and guests.

Ryan and Stacey were married at Hidden Meadows on 09.07.08. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect with blue, clear skies and a slight breeze to keep things cool. After the ceremony they were surprised with an aerial banner in the sky. On our drive to Hidden Meadows, we drove past a field filled with sunflowers and so we couldn’t let the day go by without taking Ryan and Stacey out there for a few shots. They were great models for us and we got some great shots!

Incredible New Canon Camera!!! Canon EOS 5D Mark II

Photo Elan just put a deposit on two new Canon EOS 5D Mark II cameras due to arrive sometime in November. We can’t wait to get them in our hands! So those of you who have already booked us for weddings after November, you will have us showing up with the new cameras, two in tow. Of course all our fashion and commercial shoots will see this camera as well. The biggest improvement for our studio will be the fact that the EOS 5D Mark II achieves the highest level of image quality of any EOS Digital SLR released to date. No mean statement from a company whose bread and butter is the vaunted image quality of its cameras. It also incorporates an all new 21.1-Megapixel sensor. The camera also have full HD 1080p video capture ability, so we will, at some point in the near future, consider incorporating “video highlights” in our slide shows. There are so many exciting technological advances in this camera, we are very excited to acquire them.

Taylor and Nicole were married on 09.06.08 at St. James Cathedral in Seattle with the reception at the stylish Hotel Andra in Belltown. What a fun wedding it was to photograph, family and friends were great and they love to have fun and dance! They had a great rehearsal dinner the night before on an Argosy Cruise where they lucked out with the weather. It was a perfect day for a cruise on Lake Washington!
